Prelude Orchestra
Introducing GCTYO’s newest ensemble, Prelude Orchestra!
Prelude is for young string players from 2nd to 5th grade who love to play their instrument and want to play in a group.
Prelude will meet most Saturdays during the school year from 11 AM-12:30 PM at GCTYO’s rehearsal space in Fairfield.
As full members of GCTYO, Prelude musicians will perform 3 times per year at the historic Klein Auditorium.
Evaluations for Prelude musicians will take place on Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2025 in Fairfield. Students should have some basic note reading skills and be able to play basic scales. Click on your instrument below to help you prepare for an evaluation.
Financial assistance is available for families that qualify.
