GCTYO International Performance Tour to AUSTRALIA

Join GCTYO on a performance and sightseeing tour in Australia, including participation in the 35th Australian International Music Festival in Sydney!

Tentative trip dates :

July 1-July 11, 2026

(Trip dates are likely to change, to be confirmed in fall 2025)

Musicians in Principal, Philharmonic, or Virtuosi Orchestras, or Saxophones or Jazz I in the 2025-26 season are invited to perform on the trip.

Parents and families with non-performing musicians are welcome and encouraged to travel with us as well.

Trip highlights:

• 3 nights in Melbourne, 5 nights in Sydney
• 2-4 performances, including one symphony orchestra performance in the main concert hall of the 8th Wonder of the World, the Sydney Opera House!
• Workshop with Festival faculty and exchanges with other youth orchestras
• Visits to animal sanctuaries, beaches, and charming, interesting cities
• Breakfasts and dinners included
• 11-day trip including travel, 8 days on the ground
• Cost: $5,268 per person. Cost is based on 60-64 paid travelers. It could go down as the number of travelers increases.
