Events
All GCTYO students perform at least 3 concerts per year at the beautiful and historic Klein Auditorium in Bridgeport, CT. Principal Orchestra often performs full length symphonies at their concerts. Sometimes there are special guest artists, including the student winner of the GCTYO Concerto Competition, who performs at the Spring Concert each year accompanied by Principal Orchestra. GCTYO concerts are invigorating and give our young musicians a sense of pride in their progress through the year.

GCTYO strives to keep membership costs low so that more families can participate. Help GCTYO achieve its mission of equity and access with a donation today. We are currently accepting donations for a Private Lesson Fund to give all our students equal opportunity to thrive and grow musically at GCTYO.
Auditions & Registration
Be a part of GCTYO! New & Returning Student Auditions for the 2024-25 season will take n August in Fairfield. Scroll down to watch a video about GCTYO, and check out our Auditions page to learn more about our audition process. Register to Audition or join our Steel Pan program. No audition necessary for Steel Pan! Simply register and we will be in touch at the end of August. The GCTYO season begins Sept. 7, 2024.
